Day 2 of the Student PIK National Jamboree

UMM-The second day of the 2012 Student PIK National Jamboree took place at the UMM Basement Dome. As many as 355 participants from 30 provinces attended the occasion, Main Secretary of the Central BKKBN, DR. Soedibyo Alimoeso, M.A was also present to give the first material on the GenRe Program in Preparing Family Life for Adolescents. In delivering the material, DR. Soedibyo Alimoeso, M.A explained that youth is an age that is vulnerable to promiscuity. The characteristics of teenagers who have a high ego and curiosity make teenagers want to try new things. So that free sex, drugs, brawls, smoking, and pornography become negative behaviors that spread freely among teenagers.

"In this case the family is required to be the main controller so that no family member is involved in this negative thing. Hopefully there will be no negative behavior from Muhammadiyah students," he said.

After the first material, the event continued with the second material by Muh. Samsudin S.Ag M.Pd. In the material for Self-Motivation Development, Muh. Samsudin S.Ag M.Pd explained that humans think using their hearts, feelings, and brains which are incorporated in pro-active stimulation. It is from this pro-active stimulation that humans have common sense for planned things. To see the activeness of the participants, Muh. Samsudin S.Ag M.Pd advised the participants to make plans for each participant within the next five years.

"With the plan for the next five years, I want to know how big the participants' plans are in the future," he said.

Not only that, Muh. Samsudin S.Ag M.Pd also presents a self-motivation film which tells about the enthusiasm and motivation given by hockey coaches to players who are able to change the enthusiasm of hockey players to change for the better and even become champions.

At the end of the material, the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Religion (FAI) hoped that the 2012 Student PIK National Jamboree participants had the motivation and goals to achieve their life plans.

”There are two options. Change or stay silent and will become trash. Currently in the world of work, there are more and more competitors, the competition is getting tougher. Therefore, be a person who survives above average, "he said.

Meanwhile, Entrepreneurship material was the last material on the second day of the 2012 Student PIK National Jamboree. Prof. Sujono, M.Kes as the speaker explained that not only employees, but many entrepreneurs have also been successful. Prof. Sujono, M.Kes gave an example of countries that have many entrepreneurial citizens, namely Japan and China. In Japan and China, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are growing. “An entrepreneur must have a strong attitude and mentality. Not only that, an optimistic attitude must be developed by an entrepreneur as well,” he said.
